GG&SS Archives

The GG&SS Alumni Foundation supports numerous archival projects related to the Georgetown Gilbert & Sullivan Society across many different mediums: video, photo, digital copies of old programs, and more. We also keep track of facts like past leadership and past seasons.

We hope to establish a wiki project in the near future, to let alumni contribute more easily to the archives. Until then, please find links to our currently available archival materials below.

GG&SS Cabaret. Three people in silk pajama sets are on the right side of a emcee, who is shirtless, with black pants and suspenders. Two more people in matching silk sets are on the emcee's left. The actors all have their arms around one another and legs crossed, as if captured while dancing.

This page recounts the founding and subsequent history of GG&SS.

Our video archives date back to the 1974 production of The Pirates of Penzance at the Georgetown University Law Center.

Our photo archives date back to our very first show: the 1973 production of Trial by Jury.

Past Leadership

This page documents the past Boards of Directors of the Georgetown Gilbert and Sullivan Society.

Along with an odd history, comes odd traditions.

A woman holds up a piece of paper. She is in a white dress with a pearl necklace. There are men in 1930s attire on either side of her. In front of them is a round table with a light on it that has the number 2.
